According to data from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, from January to October this year, China's telecommunications business revenue has accumulated 1,132.3 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 3.3%.
As of the end of October, the total number of mobile phone subscribers of the three operators reached 1.6 billion, a year-on-year increase of 0.1%. Among them, the number of 4G users was 1.296 billion, a year-on-year increase of 2.1%, and accounted for 80.9% of the total number of mobile phone subscribers.
Up to the end of October, the total number of fixed Internet broadband access users of the three operators reached 481 million, a year-on-year increase of 6.4% and a net increase of 31.53 million from the end of the previous year.
From January to October, China’s cumulative mobile Internet traffic reached 133.8 billion GB, a year-on-year increase of 34%, of which, the traffic through mobile phones reached 127 billion GB, a year-on-year increase of 27.6%.
