Recently, Digital Transformation World (DTW) 2025 summit hosted by TM Forum was successfully held in Copenhagen, Denmark. During the summit, TM Forum held a masterclass themed "ANL4 Solution Packages Blueprint: From Vision to Deployment." China Mobile, Telkomsel and Huawei were invited to the event. At the event, TM Forum and industry partners jointly released the AN L4 high-value scenario solution package, and awarded certificates to the second batch of operators who passed the autonomous core network high stability evaluation. Altogether, more than 100 operators, analysts, and media customers attended the event. The masterclass featured real cases of autonomous network level 4 (AN L4), and demonstrated the phased implementation path of the standardized blueprint. These insights promote the rapid development of autonomous core networks, improve network intelligence, and allow for highly stable and efficient core network operations.
In the evaluation certificate awarding session, TM Forum Autonomous Networks Program Director introduced the implementation process, key results, and industry impact of this evaluation project in detail. She stated that the second evaluation project further validated, through practical implementation, the significance of high stability evaluation for the autonomous core network. Eleven operators participated in this evaluation, jointly promote the improvement of core network high stability standards, and to highlight the industry's commitment to pursue network stability.
China Mobile and Telkomsel obtained the ANL validation certificate
Autonomous Networks Director, Fernando Camacho then announced the scoring results of this ANL evaluation, in which China Mobile and Telkomsel were recognized as outstanding operators, and received the certification. The recognition honors their continued efforts and notable contributions in areas such as high-stability core network architecture, Telco Cloud, regional disaster recovery, signaling storm flow control mechanisms, and predictive fault management.
Later, the industry partner representative Michael Wang from Huawei, presented the AN L4 high-value scenario solution (ANL4 HVS Solution Package). This package offers an end-to-end solution, from the detection of faults to their resolution. Focusing on core network fault management, it introduces intelligent O&M that enables precise fault self-diagnosis, rapid service recovery, and early risk detection. The package also includes network optimization strategies and best-practice case studies, providing valuable guidance and reference for the development of the autonomous network industry.
The successful conclusion of this master class marks a solid step forward for the autonomous core network, with its high stability level evaluation helping operators identify core network weaknesses. It also gives operators actionable guidance for building highly reliable networks. It is expected that more operators will join the ranks of high-stability core network deployment, making it a new industry norm. In the future, closer cooperation between standards organizations and industry players will create more high-value application scenarios, accelerating the realization of highly stable and intelligent autonomous core networks. This synergy will support global operators to advance toward highly stable AN L4 networks, and usher in a new era of intelligent core networks.
