According to the report, by the end of March, the total number of mobile phone base stations in China reached 8.523 million, with an increase of 28.8% over the same period last year. Among them, the total number of 4G base stations is 5.51 million, accounting for 64.7%.
By the end of March, the total number of mobile phone users of three telecommunications companies in China has reached 1.59 billion, with 4G users (1.28 billion) accounting for 80.2 % among all mobile phone users; the total number of fixed Internet broadband access users of the three telecommunications companies has reached 456 million, with an increase of 7.7% over the same period last year and a net increase of 6.49 million over the end of last year. The number of fixed Internet broadband access users with a receiving rate of 100 Mbps and above has reached 389 million, accounting for 85.3% of the total users.
