As the pioneer of TD wireless city construction, China Mobile Fujian Branch has built the world's first TD wireless city in Xiamen early in 2008.
In 2010, under the leadership of general manager Huang Liwei, China Mobile Fujian Branch proposed a strategic idea of building wireless city group in Fujian, which got the support from China Mobile Group Company and the Fujian provincial government, and now the wireless cities have been built in Fujian Everywhere.
On 6 January, China Mobile Fujian Branch with Fujian Province Development and Reform Commission, Fujian Digital Office, Fujian Communications Authority and Fujian Information Bureau held the opening ceremony of wireless city group in Xiamen and released an visual identity to the outside world, which means China's first provincial-level wireless city group was officially opened in Fujian province.
After China Mobile Fujian Branch built the world's first wireless city in Xiamen, the wireless city group construction is another major achievement. (by Nye Sha)
