“In the two weeks after the launching of the HarmonyOS 2.0 developer beta for smartphones, an increasing number of developers have joined the HarmonyOS ecosystem. We look forward to cooperating with more developers and partners to achieve win-win results in the next ten years of mobile communication,” said Yang Haisong, vice-president of the software department at Huawei's consumer business group.
According to the tech giant, it is looking to cover more than 100 million devices across more than 40 mainstream brands in 2021 to enrich customer experience.
At the developer event featuring the HarmonyOS 2.0 smartphone developer beta, representatives from WPS, Bilibili, Ctrip, Iflyteck and ShenZhen Tong shared their innovative experiences in utilizing the OS, expanding new horizons for the Internet of Everything.
