Guangzhou Broadcast, a China-based cable and media operator, has announced that it will apply to the National Equities Exchange and Quotations to voluntarily terminate the listing of its shares. To ensure fair disclosure, protect investor interests, and prevent abnormal price swings, the company has applied to the NEEQ for a trading halt, which will take effect from July 6, 2026, according to a public filing.
The company's board of directors had already approved the delisting proposal and a related resolution authorizing the board to handle all delisting procedures at its 30th meeting of the third board session on June 22, 2026. Both motions were subsequently ratified by shareholders at the second extraordinary general meeting of 2026, held on July 7.
