China Unicom's Revenue in 2023 Reaches 372.6 Billion Yuan

According to a report released by China Unicom on March 4, in the past few years, China Unicom's dividend per share has maintained double-digit growth, with a growth rate far exceeding the increase in earnings per share. The proportion of cash dividends to profits has continuously increased, and the cumulative total of cash dividends since its listing ranks among the top of state-owned holding listed companies. In the next step, the company will actively grasp the relationship between short-term, medium-term, and long-term development, and return shareholders with greater strength on the basis of accumulating momentum for long-term stable and robust growth.

At the same time, China Unicom continues to strengthen proactive investor relations. On the basis of improving the frequency and quality of performance briefings, it has actively conducted reverse roadshows to "enter listed companies" multiple times, and used efficient and convenient methods such as digitalization and new media to strengthen investor communication and actively convey the long-term value of the company.

In terms of performance, China Unicom achieved revenue of 372.6 billion yuan in 2023, a year-on-year increase of 5.0%. Among them, the revenue from core business operations was 335.2 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 5.0%. The total profit was 22.7 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 11.5%; net profit was 8.2 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 12%, achieving double-digit growth for seven consecutive years. The net profit attributable to shareholders of listed companies, excluding non-recurring gains and losses, was 7.5 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 12.2%.

The report emphasizes that in the future, China Unicom will adhere to promoting high-quality development and "improving quality, enhancing efficiency, and returning more". It will focus on enhancing core functions, improving core competitiveness, and creating greater value for shareholders, customers, and society.
