On December 20th and 21st, the "2024 Open Atom Developer Conference and the First Open Source Technology Academic Conference" will be held in Wuhan, under the theme "All for Developers."
The conference is jointly organized by the Open Atom Open Source Foundation and the China Institute of Communications. It aims to create a comprehensive exchange platform for both developers and scholars. The academic conference will focus on the latest theoretical research and cutting-edge technologies, while the developer conference will emphasize technical practice and innovative applications.
The biggest highlight of the conference is the official debut of OpenHarmony, with the significant release of the OpenHarmony 5.0 version.
According to available information, more than 70 co-contributing units have joined the OpenHarmony ecosystem, with over 8,100 code contributors participating in community contributions, resulting in more than 120 million lines of contributed code. The number of ecosystem devices based on OpenHarmony exceeds 1 billion, with over 890 software and hardware products passing compatibility assessments, covering multiple industry sectors. OpenHarmony has not only entered many key industries vital to the national economy and people's livelihoods but is also gradually establishing its influence in the consumer sector. More than 300 educational institutions are participating in the OpenHarmony talent ecosystem development.
The conference will host an OpenHarmony technical sub-forum, where the OpenHarmony 5.0 version's technical features will be released and interpreted, along with the announcement of the OpenHarmony star developer list and OpenHarmony application cases.
