"Shenzhen, the first in the country to realize the full coverage of 5G SA, has once again shown the Shenzhen Speed," stated by Chen Guiru, Mayor of Shenzhen, at the press conference of "Lighting up Shenzhen as a 5G Smart City".
As announced by Jia Xingdong, director of Shenzhen Industrial and Information Technology Bureau, Shenzhen has built 46,480 5G base stations by August 14 after reaching the goal of building 45,000 base stations in advance on July 26.
He stated out that at present, the scale of 5G industry, number of 5G base stations and terminal shipments in Shenzhen is taking the lead across the globe.
