Tore Johnsen, chief executive of Thailand's Total Access Communication Plc (TAC) (DTAC.BK), was appointed chief executive of Telenor (TEL.OL) -controlled Grameenphone GRAE.DH in Bangladesh, TAC said on Tuesday.
TAC said in a statement Johnsen will step down on Feb. 28 and it had appointed Jon Eddy Abdullah as its new chief executive.
Telenor holds a 55.8 percent stake in Grameenphone and 38.6 percent in TAC.
