Hengtong Optic-Electric reported its third-quarter 2026 results last night, with revenue up 27.14% year-on-year to 22.341 billion yuan and net profit attributable to shareholders soaring 299.10% to 3.043 billion yuan.
For the first nine months, revenue rose 29.72% to 64.367 billion yuan, while net profit climbed 159.42% to 6.163 billion yuan.
Third-quarter net profit was up 51% from the previous quarter, as higher optical fiber prices continued to lift earnings. Hengtong Optic-Electric said its optical communications business grew significantly during the period.
