As revealed by China Mobile officially, the high-profile bidding for centralized procurement of new equipment for China Mobile's 2021 4G/5G common core network has completed.
Two candidates have entered the short list of this centralized procurement. Among them, the joint venture of Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd. and Huawei Technical Services Co., Ltd. ranked first in the awarded share, followed by ZTE Corporation. Huawei's quotation was CNY 7.4887 billion in total, in which equipment accounted for CNY 6.4062 billion while service accounted for CNY 1.0824 billion; ZTE offers a proposal at a price at CNY 7.4643 billion, in which equipment accounted for CNY 6.573 billion while service accounted for CNY 891.3 million.
