According to official news from China Mobile, the bidding evaluation of 2020 5G SA core network new devices centralized procurement, which has attracted wide attention, has been accomplished recently, and the successful bidders are announced. Huawei, ZTE and Ericsson are among the candidates and Huawei wins the biggest portion in this bid, followed by ZTE.
The contents of this centralized procurement include network elements for the construction of new 5G SA core network in the companies from 8 regions/31 provinces nationwide, and NFV platform devices.
