China Unicom announced its unaudited operational and other financial highlights for the first three quarters in 2019. During the period, China Unicom's service revenue decreased by 0.7% YoY to 198.532 billion yuan, indicating a slower decline compared with -1.1% in the first half of the year. The revenue from industrial Internet was 24.291 million yuan, up 40.8% YoY. The EBITDA was 73.145 billion yuan, up 10.4% YoY. The profit attributable to equity holders was 9.823 billion yuan, up 11.9% YoY.
In addition, the subscribers of China Unicom increased by 9.69 million to 325 million in the first three quarters. Among them, the number of 4G users reached 251 million with a net increase of 31.22 million. The number of cable broadband users reached 84.45 million with a net increase of 3.57 million. The revenue from access to cable broadband was 30.959 billion yuan.
