At a recent event, China Mobile Henan andHuawei unveiledthe X-Experience Joint Innovation Center, and shared their achievements in experience innovation. During the event, Leo Ma, Vice President of Huawei Cloud Core Network Product Line, delivered a keynote speech titled "Innovation Leadership: Embracing the Future of X-Experience." Leo Ma detailed the joint breakthroughs in communication experience enhancements, and presented a network development blueprint aimed at elevatingexperiences in the AI era.

Collaboration Fuels a Transformative Leap in Experiences

In his speech, Leo Ma highlighted that over the past year, Huawei has worked closely with China Mobile Henan to improve user experiences, making them more perceptible, enjoyable, and accessible. At the core of this upgrade is a collaborative framework that seamlessly integrates networks, business operations (business domain), and devices.

Users are already witnessing experience changes. Network evaluations of user experiences are no longer based on conventional KPIs; instead, they now incorporate real-time, AI-empowered service-level quality of experience (QoE) awareness to better reflect actual user perceptions. Users can now engage directly anytime through interactive logos, rather than just receiving passive SMS alerts. Service commitments have shifted from ambiguous peak rates to specific guarantees of X-fold rates anytime, anywhere, such as consistent 2x rates for diamond and platinum users and 1.5x rates for gold and silver users. "A true advancement in experience monetization does not arise solely from the success of a single technology, but rather from the deeper integration and collaborative innovation across networks, operations, and devices." Leo Ma emphasized.

Three Technological Breakthroughs Pave the Way for X-Experience

China Mobile Henan and Huawei have achieved three advancements in key technologies towards the X-Experience era:

Understanding User Needs Through Intelligent Experience Awareness: Powered by AI-driven network awareness models, the network has, for the first time, acquired the capability to proactively analyze service QoE. It can capture shifts in user experiences from service flow information in real time, delivering data support for precise optimization.

Fulfilling Rate Commitments Through a Golden Pipe:

Cutting-edge Golden Pipe technology facilitates the intelligent coordination and scheduling of multi-band spectrum resources. This technology helps allocate dedicated spectrum resources to high-value users—just like opening a dedicated laneon a highway—ensuring that they can receive high-quality services at committed X-fold rates wherever they are, while maintaining the experience of regular users.

Creating Direct Experience Value Through a Cross-Domain Synergy Loop

The core network continuously perceives user experiences and shares these insights with the business domain for enhanced user engagement. In turn, the business domain transmits rate updates, poor-QoE alerts, and package recommendations directly to user devices. Users can access this information from an interface with a native interactive logo, and subscribe to their preferred packages with a single click. This 'awareness-feedback-subscription-optimization' loop transforms user experiences into a genuinely operable, value-added service.

The X-Experience Joint Innovation Center: Charting the Future of Intelligent Networks

The official launch of the X-Experience Joint Innovation Center represents a pivotal milestone in the deepening partnership between the two parties. The Center will pursue two strategic goals: (1) technological innovation on cross-domain synergy to monetize experiences at scale; (2) exploration oftechnologies for intelligent networks to secure theleading position in experience innovation.
