Digital blogger RD Observation recently released flagship smartphone sales data as of Week 51, 2025 (December 14-20), showing that the Huawei Mate 80 series had sold approximately 1.2349 million units since its official launch on November 28. If confirmed, this milestone was reached in just 23 days, translating to an average daily sales volume of over 50,000 units.
Sales breakdown indicates that the standard Mate 80 leads the lineup, followed by the Pro Max, Pro, and RS Ultimate Design editions. Currently, these three premium variants remain in short supply, with third-party resellers charging significant premiums.
At its current sales pace, industry observers project that the Mate 80 series will reach cumulative shipments of 12-16 million units much earlier than its predecessor.
