Huawei IPE Solution Wins GTI's Innovative Mobile Service and Application Award

At MWC Barcelona 2025, Huawei's Intelligent Personalized Experience (IPE) solution took home GTI's Innovative Mobile Service and Application Award. This award fully recognizes Huawei's outstanding contributions and exemplary role in the field of experience monetization, particularly regarding technology leadership and service innovation.

With the wide adoption of the traffic-based monetization business model, services are becoming homogenous, and competition in the Internet industry is growing. Operators are now facing the pressure of slowing revenue growth. Against this backdrop, the industry is expecting operators to accelerate their transformation and seek new growth opportunities.

Huawei has launched the industry-first IPE solution. This solution empowers networks with diversified awareness capabilities and experience monetization entries, providing uses with differentiated experience and making it possible to monetize this experience. Additionally, the solution enables network-wide data analytics, model training, and inference. Together with the UPF's service identification and inference capabilities, the network can be aware of services and accurately assess service experiences in real time. After this solution is deployed, the network enables dynamic guarantee for users suffering from poor service experience to optimize their experience, and delivers them experience reports at the end of guarantee. This means users are aware of the effects of the services they pay for, and achieves closed-loop experience monetization.

This solution widely applies to scenarios like video live streaming, sports live streaming, video conferencing, and HD video on demand (VoD). It provides differentiated experience guarantee for users and has been commercially used on a large scale in China. For example, in Henan, travel bloggers smoothly live stream their trips in HD through simple subscription to acceleration packages, helping promote the economic growth of local tourism.In Guangdong, agricultural workers have promoted the sales of agricultural products through 5G-A-assisted live streaming, which is designed for experience monetization. This has significantly increased the revenue of those in the agricultural industry.
