Recently, China Broadcasting Network (CBN) disclosed its 2024 total payroll information on its official website for the first time. The data shows that the average annual salary for CBN employees in 2024 was 171,300 yuan, an increase of 6.6% compared to 160,700 yuan in 2023.
Over the past four years, the average salary for CBN employees has grown steadily. According to wage data for directly affiliated enterprises uniformly disclosed by the National Radio and Television Administration, CBN's average annual salary increased from 142,300 yuan in 2021 to 171,300 yuan in 2024, a cumulative increase of 20.38%. Among these years, 2022 saw the most significant growth rate at 10.82%; growth slowed to 1.90% in 2023 before rebounding to 6.60% in 2024.
Simultaneously, the number of employees also showed phased changes. After rapidly expanding from 2,209 employees in 2021 to 4,361 in 2022, the company gradually optimized its personnel structure over the following two years, with the number decreasing to 4,128 in 2023 and further reducing to 3,974 in 2024.
