Recently, to further advance the high-quality development and large-scale application of "5G+Industrial Internet" and promote the enhancement and expansion of 5G factories in Sichuan Province, the Sichuan Communications Administration, in collaboration with the Provincial Department of Economy and Information Technology, jointly selected and announced the "2025 Sichuan Province 5G Factory Directory." A total of 52 projects were included, injecting strong digital and intelligent momentum into the intelligent transformation and digitalization of Sichuan's manufacturing industry.
The selected projects span 25 major categories of the national economy, reflecting a diversified trend in industry applications and fully demonstrating the achievements of integrated "5G+Industrial Internet" applications in Sichuan. Geographically, the projects cover 13 cities and prefectures across the province. Chengdu leads with 20 projects, followed by Deyang with 8 and Mianyang with 7, forming a core cluster for 5G factory construction centered around Chengdu and radiating to drive coordinated development in surrounding key cities. This further highlights the regional development advantages.
In the project construction process, local basic telecommunications enterprises have fully leveraged their technological empowerment. Sichuan Unicom, China Telecom, and China Mobile have collaborated on 24, 14, and 14 projects respectively, further enhancing the integrated development of digital and physical capabilities and helping industrial enterprises achieve higher-quality and more efficient digital transformation.
