According to the operational data released by China Mobile recently for the first quarter in 2020, the company's revenue in Q1 was 181.3 billion yuan, with a year-on-year decrease of 2.0%, among which, revenue of communication service was 168.9 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 1.8%. EBITDA was 68.5 billion yuan, with a year-on-year decrease of 5.8%. Profits attributable to shareholders were 23.5 billion yuan, down by 0.8% from the same period in last year.
As stated by China Mobile, in the first quarter of 2020, COVID-19 has brought huge impact on social economy. Against such backdrop, business development of the company was also restrained to certain extent.
