Liu Yulin, deputy director of the Information and Communication Development Department of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China, said that China's 5G network construction would accelerate in an all-round way at the "2020 Summit Forum of China's Top 500 Enterprises". Up to now, more than 600,000 5G base stations have been built and opened in China, gradually covering major cities in China and extending to key counties and towns that have favorable conditions, thereby laying the foundation for large-scale 5G commercialization.
Currently, China's 5G applications have continuously diversified, covering many fields like energy, education, finance, agriculture, and medical care. 5G applications have played an important role in contributing to epidemic prevention and control, work and production resumption, and creating new driving forces for economic development.
