On the evening of July 29, Huawei launched the P50 flagship series officially. Powered by HarmonyOS 2 as the operating system, P50 series is equipped with Kirin 9000 and Qualcomm Snapdragon 888. However, the series of mobile phone only support 4G network.
The P50 series also adopts Huawei’s innovation in mobile imaging technology. In addition to improvements in optical capability, the appearance of P50 series has also undergone significant change with an innovative dual-ring design with dual camera setup.
According to the message from Huawei China's official Weibo, Huawei P50 starts at 4,488 yuan, while Huawei P50 Pro starts at 5,988 yuan.
Despite severe external challenges, Huawei never stops exploring the software field. As addressed by Yu Chengdong, CEO of Consumer Business Department of Huawei, after releasing HarmonyOS 2.0 in June 2, over 40 million users have upgraded to the new system by July 30.
