Frost & Sullivan Report: Huawei Leads Cloud EPC Market

According to the latest Global Cloud EPC Market Research report released by Frost & Sullivan, Huawei leads other vendors in global cloud EPC market. Up to the end of 2017, the cloud EPC shipment and commercial cut-over points of Huawei are higher than those of other vendors. Huawei’s market share is close to 60%. Ericsson, Nokia and Cisco are ranked second, third and fourth, respectively. Detailed statistics are as follows.

The report reviews top vendors in technical strength on four dimensions: infrastructure layer, software architecture layer, network architecture layer and servicer enabling layer. Huawei takes leading position in all four dimensions.

The Frost & Sullivan report shows that global cloud EPC market has seen an annual average growth rate of 68.7% from 2014 to 2017. Among all regional markets, Europe and Middle East take the largest portion, followed by Asia-Pacific and North America. The report forecasts that cloud EPC market will sustain a growth rate close to 40% from 2018 to 2020.

With the manifest of cloud network value and emergence of 5G, more operators will choose cloud EPC solution to replace their legacy network for network evolution and new service delivering.
