Huawei's Revenue Expected to Exceed 700 Billion Yuan

According to Huawei's rotating chairman Hu Houkun's 2024 New Year's speech, after years of hard work, Huawei has withstood the harsh times, and the company's operations have basically returned to normal. It is expected to achieve sales revenue of over 700 billion yuan in 2023. This number has increased by nearly 10% compared to RMB 642.3 billion in 2022.

Among the major business sectors, the ICT infrastructure business remained stable, the terminal business was better than expected, the digital energy and cloud business achieved good growth, and the competitiveness of intelligent vehicle solutions significantly improved.

In the face of still severe challenges, Hu Houkun pointed out that Huawei firmly believes that digitization, intelligence, and low-carbon are the most definite development trends. It will leverage its comprehensive advantages in industrial portfolio, technological innovation, and complex software and hardware platforms, work together with ecological partners, and continue to provide customers with high-quality products and services. He emphasized that Huawei needs to build a world leading computing power base and prosper thousands of industries.

In 2024, Huawei will focus on areas such as value creation, quality assurance, ecological construction, simplified management, and enterprise compliance, aiming to further advance. For example, in terms of operator business, the company will support customer network traffic filling, business innovation, and network evolution to help operators achieve commercial success. In terms of terminals, Huawei will work with partners to accelerate the commercialization of mobile applications, achieve a historic leap in the HarmonyOS ecosystem, and provide consumers with the ultimate experience in all scenarios.
