China Telecom recently released its operational data for September 2023. During the month, the company saw a net increase of 2.16 million mobile subscribers, bringing the total number of mobile subscribers to 405.81 million. Among them, there was a net increase of 4.63 million 5G subscribers, with a cumulative total number of 307.61 million.
In terms of wired broadband services, China Telecom added 1.49 million households to its subscriber base in September, reaching a cumulative total of 189.26 million households. As for fixed-line telephone services, there was a net decrease of 300,000 households, resulting in a cumulative total of 102.13 million households.
