China Telecom recently announced its key operational data for August 2023. During that month, China Telecom added a net increase of 960,000 mobile subscribers, with a total of 403.65 million mobile users. Among them, there was a net increase of 4.83 million 5G package users, reaching a cumulative total of 302.98 million, with a penetration rate exceeding 75%.
In terms of wired broadband services, China Telecom added a net increase of 910,000 wired broadband subscribers in that month, reaching a cumulative total of 187.77 million users. As for fixed-line telephone services, China Telecom experienced a net decrease of 420,000 fixed-line telephone subscribers, with a cumulative total of 102.43 million users.
