During the reporting period, China Telecom achieved operating revenue of 258.7 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 7.7%. Among them, service revenue was 236 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 6.6%; net profit was 20.2 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 10.2%, and non-GAAP net profit was 20.4 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 11.3%.
Among them, the revenue of Tianyi Cloud reached 45.9 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 63.4%. Tianyi Cloud has competitive advantages such as independently developed full-stack technology, leading computing power layout in the industry, rich and high-quality product capabilities, secure and trusted operational capabilities, and an open and cooperative national cloud ecosystem. The national cloud framework has taken shape.
At the same time, Tianyi Cloud maintains a leading position in the market. According to IDC data, Tianyi Cloud ranks among the top three in the domestic market for public cloud IaaS and public cloud IaaS+PaaS, and ranks first in government public cloud infrastructure and global operator cloud. Additionally, it ranks first in the Chinese desktop and service DaaS market. It is worth mentioning that Tianyi Cloud accounts for 60% of the 40 industry-specific public clouds under the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission.
It is reported that Tianyi Cloud expanded its market rapidly in the first half of this year, winning bids for 22,000 projects. The contracted project amount in the first half of the year was 26.4 billion yuan. The number of industry customers exceeded 3.5 million, a year-on-year increase of 17.4%, with government customers exceeding 600,000, accounting for 27.8% of the revenue.
