According to official information from China Unicom, it has recently launched a centralized public procurement project for smart home gateways in 2023. The procurement includes multiple types of products, with a total procurement scale of approximately 11.9 million units.
In addition to meeting the relevant technical specifications, standards, regulations, and contract terms of the country and China Unicom, applicants must have a minimum backup quantity of 1 million pieces of the main chip for smart home gateway products from January 1, 2020 to February 28, 2023.
Currently, China Unicom's fiber-to-the-home has covered 450 million households and is working to build a high-quality broadband network with full optical access, full-area gigabit, full-house WiFi, and all-weather service.
