According to Ku Wen, Director of Department of Information Communication Development, Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, over 480,000 5G base stations have been built nationwide to date, and more than 100 million devices having been connected to 5G network, demonstrating an increasing trend.
China is now undergoing a critical period for 5G network construction and application. Wen Ku has given advice on three aspects: to keep enhancing the network supply capacity, to actively build applied industrial ecology and to carry out in-depth international cooperation and exchange.
