As of July this year, the total number of 5G base stations has reached 38,000, which is expected to reach 150,000 by the end of 2019, according to Yang Hua, secretary-general of TDIA.
It is expected that by the end of 2019 and the beginning of 2020, the first batch of 5G smartphones for commercial purpose in scale will be officially launched, which will usher in the further purchase round of the lastest smartphone models.
