Nubia hosted an "Evolution"-themed livestream for its NaviX Ultra at 7 p.m. on October 14. According to the company, an AI agent phone isn't a device that's set in stone the moment it leaves the factory — launch is just the beginning, and its agent capabilities keep evolving with use.
The update brings a slew of upgrades to the phone's agent capabilities. Local data search and recording summaries are now more thorough and support fuzzy natural-language queries. Smart call handling can decide on its own whether a call needs to be picked up by the user. There's also new rapid Q&A for video content and an "automatic task-knowledge learning" feature, so the assistant gets to know you better the more you use it.
Nubia also unveiled a "Beta Lab" program, offering a limited number of beta slots that let users try out more powerful models and features before their official release.
On the perks front, new users who buy the phone during the Double 11 shopping festival from October 15 to November 11 — along with all existing NaviX Ultra owners — will get a free six-month Doubao Standard membership.
