According to the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, on February 14, a series of international standards for WiTSnet industrial communication based on Ethernet, led by China, was successfully approved by the International Electrotechnical Commission's Subcommittee for Industrial Networks (IEC/SC65C). The standards are designated as IEC 61158 Type29 and IEC 61784 CPF23.
The series of standards was jointly developed by leading domestic scientific research institutions and key enterprises, organized by the National Technical Committee on Industrial Process Measurement Control and Automation of Standardization Administration of China (SAC/TC124). It is the world's first series of industrial communication protocol standards that adopt hybrid topology link redundancy technology to achieve high-precision time synchronization and autonomous networking functions, contributing a Chinese solution to the digital and intelligent transformation of the global manufacturing industry.
The successful approval of this series of international standards marks the achievement of international consensus on the innovative technological path proposed by China in the field of industrial networks. It lays a solid foundation for China's industrial communication technology to go global and integrate into the global industrial system.
