According to the official website of China Mobile, China Mobile recently announced that the centralized procurement project for anti-DDoS equipment from 2024 to 2026 is now ready for tender, and an open tender process is being conducted.
The announcement indicates that the estimated procurement scale for the anti-DDoS equipment is 749 units. The total budget for the project is 96.5439 million yuan (excluding tax).
This project adopts a mixed tendering approach and is divided into two packages. Regarding the number of successful bidders, there will be 2 to 3 contractors for Package 1 and 2 contractors for Package 2. The share distribution is as follows: if there are 3 contractors, the shares will be 50% for the first, 27% for the second, and 23% for the third; if there are 2 contractors, the shares will be 70% for the first and 30% for the second. Bidders are allowed to win up to 2 packages simultaneously.
Additionally, the project sets a maximum bid limit. The maximum bid limit for Package 1 is 57.1658 million yuan (excluding tax), and for Package 2, it is 39.3781 million yuan (excluding tax). Bids that exceed the maximum bid limit will be rejected.
