According to the Monitoring Report on Characteristics of Interactive Carriers of Domestic Smartphones (2022Q3) published by the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology (CAICT), 84.6% of smartphones launched on China's market in 2022Q3 have RAM of 2GB or above. 81.4% of 4G phones have RAM of 2GB or above, in contrast to 5G phones with RAM of 4GB or above.
CAICT further notes in statistical analysis that 80.8% of new smartphones on China's market in the 2022Q3 have ROM of 128GB or above, including 75.9% of 4G phones and 97.7% of 5G phones respectively.
