Local brands of mobile phone shipments were 16.4 million,down 33.6 percent year-over-year,accounting for 90.9 percent of the total shipments in April.Number of new models released by the local brands were 39£¬increased by 50 percent year-over-year,and represented 97.5 percent of the total number of new models release in the month.
Domestic mobile phone shipments were 18.1 million,down 34.2 percent year-over-year in April.40 new models were released in the month,up 25 percent year-over-year.Over the past 4 months,domestic mobile phone shipments were 87.4 million and number of new model were 143,down 30.3 percent and down 7.1 percent year-over-year respectively.
