The data shows that the total revenue of the national radio and television service industry was 688.414 billion yuan during the period, a year-on-year increase of 5.24% calculated on a comparable basis. Among this, the actual operating revenue was 608.154 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 5.76%.
By entity, the total revenue of radio and television institutions was 297.605 billion yuan, while the total revenue of online audio-visual service institutions was 390.809 billion yuan.
National radio program broadcasting time reached 7.8332 million hours, and television program broadcasting time reached 9.3553 million hours.
As of the end of June, the number of actual national cable television users was 206 million, and the number of CBN's 5G users was 35.4557 million.
According to previously released data for the first quarter of 2025, the number of actual national cable television users was 207 million, and the total number of CBN's 5G users was 33.7043 million.
