On Nov. 21, China Telecom released its major operational data for October 2022, when it absorbed 590,000 new mobile users, lifting up the total number of mobile users to 390.48 million. Among them, there was a net increase of 5.88 million 5G package users, bringing the total number of 5G package users to 256.92 million.
As for the wired broadband business, China Telecom had a net increase of 1.03 million households this month, and the total number of wired broadband subscribers has reached 179.71 million.
With respect to fixed telephone services, China Telecom had a net decline of 30,000 households this month, and the cumulative number of fixed-line subscribers has reached 105.47 million.
