Huawei released its operating performance for the first half of 2024 today, stating that overall operations remained stable and results met expectations.
In the first half of the year, the company achieved sales revenue of 417.5 billion RMB, a year-on-year increase of 34.3%, with a net profit margin of 13.2%.
"The overall operating performance of the group met expectations. We will continue to implement a 'high-quality' company strategy throughout all processes, continuously optimize our industry portfolio, enhance development resilience, and build a prosperous industrial ecosystem to provide our customers with more competitive products and solutions," said Huawei's rotating chairman, Xu Zhijun.
C114 noted that the 417.5 billion RMB figure significantly surpasses the 301.6 billion RMB from the first half of 2022 and the 310.9 billion RMB from the first half of 2023. It has also exceeded the 401.3 billion RMB from the first half of 2019, approaching the 454.0 billion RMB in the first half of 2020 and the 455.8 billion RMB in the first half of 2021. This demonstrates that Huawei is on an upward trajectory, returning to its rightful position.
