China Telecom today announced its major operational data for December 2024. In the month, China Telecom's mobile user base saw a net increase of 820,000, with a total net increase of 16.75 million for the year, bringing the total number of mobile users to 424.52 million.
Among them, 5G plan users saw a net increase of 2.11 million in the month, with a total net increase of 32.82 million for the year, bringing the total number of 5G plan users to 351.48 million.
In the wired broadband business, China Telecom's wired broadband users increased by a net of 630,000 in the month, with a total net increase of 7.28 million for the year, bringing the total number of wired broadband users to 197.44 million.
In the fixed-line telephone business, China Telecom's fixed-line telephone users decreased by a net of 390,000 in the month, with a total net decrease of 4.12 million for the year, bringing the total number of fixed-line telephone users to 96.9 million.
