China Telecom recently released its major operational data for June 2024. During this month, the number of China Telecom mobile users increased by 1.47 million, bringing the total number of mobile users to 416.85 million. Among them, the number of 5G plan users increased by 2.37 million, reaching a total of 336.63 million.
In terms of wired broadband business, the number of China Telecom wired broadband users increased by 510,000 in the month, bringing the total number of wired broadband users to 193.35 million. For fixed-line telephone services, the number of China Telecom fixed-line telephone users decreased by 260,000 during the month, bringing the total number of fixed-line telephone users to 99.16 million.
Overall, in the first half of 2024, the number of China Telecom mobile users increased by 9.08 million, 5G plan users increased by 17.97 million, and wired broadband users increased by 3.19 million.
