The 2023 China Mobile Global Partners Conference opened in Guangzhou on the 11th. During the main forum held this morning, Yang Jie, Chairman of China Mobile, stated that China Mobile is making concerted efforts in two areas: building new information infrastructure and innovatively constructing a new information service system, promoting the digital transformation of production methods, lifestyles, and governance.
Firstly, China Mobile is continuously strengthening the foundation of digital connectivity. It has built the world's largest 5G and gigabit broadband networks, with nearly 1.9 million 5G base stations and gigabit fiber networks covering 390 million households. The number of 5G subscribers has reached 750 million, with a total of over 3.3 billion connections.
Secondly, China Mobile is continuously leading the development of computing power networks. Its original technology "computing power routing" has gained international consensus. It has constructed a three-tier low-latency computing power service network, built large-scale centralized intelligent computing centers, and launched application services such as "east computing, west storage," "east view, west rendering." The computing power network has transitioned from conceptual prototypes to industrial practice.
Thirdly, China Mobile is continuously activating the efficiency of its capability middleware. It has built an open and shared capability middleware with a monthly call volume exceeding 43 billion times. It promotes the application of "Wutong" big data in economic insights and people's livelihood services, releases "Jiutian" AI industry models for government affairs and customer service, and facilitates the digitalization and intelligence of the entire society. "Networks reach everywhere, computing power is omnipresent, and intelligence is omnipotent" is gradually becoming a reality, supporting the vigorous development of the digital economy and promoting the company's own transformation and development.
