China Mobile, China Unicom and China Telecom separately announced to have taken notice of the OFAC statement dated Jan. 27, 2021.
Subject to relevant administrative orders, sanctions against the three major operators are to become effective 60 days after they are listed into the prohibition (i.e., Mar. 9, 2021 (EST) instead of Jan. 11, 2021 (EST)).
They will continue to keep an eye on progress of relevant matters while seeking professional advice and reserving all rights concerned, so as to protect their legitimate rights and interests, the three major operators declared respectively.
