Lately under fluctuating China-US relations, China's telecommunications carriers were affected in the U.S. business.
Ke Ruiwen, Chairman of China Telecom, claimed China Telecom Americas as a licensed communication service provider in the U.S., which keeps abiding by local laws and regulations, and noted not high percentage of local revenue in particular.
According to Mr. Ke, China Telecom's operation in the U.S. remains normal at the moment but China Telecom will keep communicating with regulators and following the latest development and work out relevant plans.
