According to the financial report, the overall service revenue of China Unicom in the first quarter of 2019 is 66.802 billion RMB, which increases by 0.3% year-on-year; the net profit is 3.675 billion RMB, achieving year-on-year growth of 22.3%.
In the first quarter, 4G users of China Unicom increased by 10.52 million, reaching 230 million; the fixed-line broadband users have a net increase of 1.51 million, reaching 82.39 million and the revenue of fixed-line broadband access is 10.332 billion RMB.
Meanwhile, affected by the cancellation of roaming charges of mobile traffic and the intensifying market competition, the mobile service revenue in the first quarter of 2019 witnessed a year-on-year drop of 5.2%, totaling 39.373 billion RMB.
