China Unicom recently released its operational data for October 2024. In the month, the net increase in China Unicom's "Big Connectivity" users was 12.572 million, bringing the total to 1.117912 billion users.
In the same month, China Unicom's 5G plan users saw a net increase of 2.025 million, reaching a total of 287.624 million users. The number of IoT terminal connections increased by 11.187 million, bringing the total to 605.051 million connections.
Additionally, China Unicom's 5G industry virtual private network service customers increased by 692, reaching a total of 14,705. The resolution rate of customer issues by intelligent customer service was 98.8%, with smart services accounting for 84.8%. The cumulative number of patents authorized this year is 1,312.
