According to official information from China Telecom, the company has recently initiated the procurement project for the sixth phase of its 5G wireless network.
The project mainly involves the procurement of 2.1GHz and 3.5GHz wireless main equipment needed for the sixth phase of China Telecom's 5G wireless network. The procurement will be conducted through a single-source method, which means it will be entirely based on capacity expansion procurement.
The single-source procurement suppliers include a consortium of Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd. and Huawei Technology Service Co., Ltd., ZTE Corporation, Datang Mobile Communications Equipment Co., Ltd., and Ericsson (China) Communications Co., Ltd.
