According to the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, in the first half of this year, the added value of the electronic information manufacturing industry grew by 10.2% year-on-year, with growth rate being 6.8 percentage points and 0.6 percentage points higher than that of the industry and high-tech manufacturing industry respectively.
In the first half of this year, the production of mobile phones was 744 million units, a YoY decrease of 2.7%, including 576 million smart phones, a decrease of 1.8%; the output of microcomputer equipment was 212 million, a YoY decrease of 5%; integrated circuit output was 166.1 billion pieces, a decrease of 6.3%.
