In the first half of 2021, facing various opportunities and challenges from both internal and external environments, ZTE focused on quality growth, relied on technological innovation, adhered to the guidance of technological competitiveness, actively promoted business expansion, and achieved operating income of RMB 53.07 billion, an increase of 12.4% year-on-year. The net profit attributable to ordinary shareholders of the listed company was RMB 4.08 billion, a year-on-year increase of 119.6%.
According to the report, in the first half of 2021, ZTE has been focused on the service provider network, committed to further optimizing the market structure, and actively expanding government-enterprise and consumer businesses. In the first half of 2021, the operating income of the company's service provider network was RMB 35.05 billion, maintaining a steady state, and the market share of high-value products has increased. The operating income of government-enterprise business was RMB 5.67 billion, a year-on-year increase of 17.7%, of which domestic server and storage operating income doubled year-on-year. The operating income of the consumer business was RMB 12.35 billion, a year-on-year increase of 66.6%, of which household terminal operating income increased by more than 90% year-on-year, and the operating income of mobile phone business increased by more than 40% year-on-year.
