The National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Ministry of Finance, and the People's Bank of China have jointly issued the Notice on Priorities in Cost Reduction in 2020. According to the Notice, all departments should help companies survive the impact brought by the COVID-19 pandemic and implement the tax and fee reduction policies to offer support for major market players.
As required by the Notice, average fee of enterprise broadband and leased lines should be reduced. To reduce the average enterprise broadband and leased line fee by 15% in general, measures should be taken to reduce broadband access and leased line fee for businesses as the priority and then SMEs and the manufacturing industry.
