CATR recently released the Big Data White Paper in 2016.
China's big data core industry market, increasing 38% to CNY 11.59 billion in 2015, is estimated to reach CNY 16.8 billion in 2016 and to keep a 40% growth in 2017-2018, according to calculations by CATR in the White Paper.
Big data is estimated to increase China's gross domestic product by 2.8-4.2 percent by 2020.
